Researchers renew calls for a Cat 6 on the Saffir-Simpson wind scale

Dr Michael Wehner, senior scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has co-authored a research article published in PNAS that renewed calls to extend the open-ended Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale to add a Category 6.
