CDI’s Lara: Insurers and regulators need “an honest dialogue” around required rate

Following major insurers such as State Farm pulling back from the California homeowners market, the state’s insurance commissioner Ricardo Lara has suggested “an honest dialogue” is needed between the industry and regulators in the face of growing climate risk, adding “we’re all in this together”.
