Mactavish: Commercial insurance lawsuits reach record high in 2022 at 82 filings

The number of commercial insurance lawsuits filed against insurers reached a new high of 82 in 2022, as more policyholders resort to the courts to get claims paid as insurers are increasingly unwilling to pay out in the hard market, according to the Mactavish Insurance Claim Litigation Index.
