APCIA: California’s outdated regulations prevent adequate property rates

The American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) has responded to State Farm’s announcement that it is suspending writing business in California by highlighting the state’s outdated regulations and suggesting “greater stability and regulatory flexibility” are needed to expand market capacity and availability of coverage.
