South Florida facing “significant claims” after storm dumps 25+ inches of rain

Over two feet of rain was dumped on parts of southern Florida on Wednesday and Thursday forcing Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport to close as local news reported collapsed roofs and flooded streets throughout Broward County, with HW Kaufman’s Paul Smith predicting the event will result in “significant claims”.
