Fidelis fights AerCap’s $3.5bn claim for stranded aircraft in Russia

Fidelis has told the High Court that it is not liable for losses incurred by AerCap, arguing in a defence filing that the insurance policies have not yet been triggered by the aviation lessor’s aircraft being stranded in Russia as the entrapment does not represent a “total loss” of the assets.
