FCA’s Brewis: new consumer rules to spur insurer profitability

The UK’s City watchdog has dismissed claims that incoming consumer protection rules will hinder growth and innovation, arguing that insurers that “seize the opportunity” stand to benefit financially as public trust in the sector and wider financial services shifts in their favour.
