IAG attaches reinsurance with A$350mn+ gross loss from Auckland flooding

Australian insurer IAG has said it will take a maximum event retention of A$236mn from the recent Auckland flooding based on a combination of its catastrophe program and whole account quota share, with gross losses expected to top A$350mn.
