Allstate CEO Wilson defends “systems approach” as claims practices draw scrutiny

Allstate CEO Tom Wilson defended his company’s claims-handling practices on Thursday, saying its “systems approach” is effective and had not gone too far with cost cuts, despite recording a $282mn reserve charge in the fourth quarter.
