Gallagher: M&A activity to return to pre-pandemic levels in 2023 following anomalous 2021

Although the volume of M&A deals declined year on year in 2022, broker Gallagher has warned against comparing all activity with the record-breaking “anomaly” that was 2021, with 2023 expected to return to pre-pandemic levels.
