TigerRisk hires Jackson from Aon

TigerRisk has announced another hire from Aon, with the appointment of Joe Jackson to its North American team.

Jackson will join casualty specialty group leader Kevin Abramson’s team and will be based at reinsurance intermediary and advisory firm TigerRisk’s New York office.

He was managing director at Aon Reinsurance Solutions.

Jackson began his career in the industry in 2006, joining Benfield, which was acquired by Aon in 2008. He developed specialties in personal and commercial property, liability, workers’ comp, non-standard and commercial auto. He later joined the MGA practice group, focusing on product and LOB business.

The appointment follows TigerRisk last week announcing two other hires from Aon: Francis Paszylk as partner and head of its London casualty practice and Oliver Denbigh as partner in its London retro practice.

TigerRisk recently received a strategic growth investment from Flexpoint Ford, a private equity firm specializing in insurance.
