S&P to issue request for comment on new methodology in Q1

S&P Global Ratings expects to issue a new request for comment (RFC) on changes to its risk-based capital adequacy methodology for (re)insurers in the first quarter of 2023, a move that follows the rating agency earlier this year withdrawing controversial elements of its proposed approach.
