Everest Re’s Andrade: Pro rata casualty cedes “appear to be stabilizing”

Everest Re president and CEO Juan Andrade has highlighted a levelling off in pro rata casualty ceding commissions, while investors reacted to the Bermudian (re)insurer’s second quarter results by sending the share price down 7 percent in trading on Thursday as a number of other carriers in the space were also hit by a sell-off.
