Peak Re net profits down 15% as nat cats hit 2021 results

Hong Kong-based Peak Re has reported a net profit of $73.2mn for 2021 – a 15 percent reduction compared with the $87.1mn booked the previous year – as the carrier pointed to “multiple severe natural disasters” as a key factor that underpinned its performance.
