Aviva chair slams “inappropriate” remarks from shareholders at AGM

Aviva chair George Culmer said he was left “flabbergasted” after being forced to rebuke a series of “inappropriate” remarks directed at CEO Amanda Blanc and other female board members by individual shareholders at the London-listed insurer’s annual general meeting this week.
