Generali activist Caltagirone sets out alternative plan to “awaken the lion”

Italian tycoon Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone and his team of challengers to Generali’s current board have unveiled a sweeping business plan which pledges to grow earnings by double figures and free up cash for M&A deals for Italy’s largest insurer.
