D&O insurers led by Zurich to pay €270mn Volkswagen settlement
Zurich, Axa XL, AIG and HDI are among the insurers on Volkswagen AG’s D&O program that will pay a €270mn ($327mn) settlement related to the carmaker’s “Dieselgate” scandal, with one observer predicting the settlement will “rock” the German D&O market.
