Tropical Storm Fred makes landfall in the Florida Panhandle

Tropical Storm Fred made landfall near Cape San Blas in Florida’s Panhandle on Monday afternoon and is expected to generate dangerous storm surges and heavy rainfall through Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
