European (re)insurers face under-reserving risk as catastrophe losses creep up

One of the key takeaways from recent reporting periods has been the trend for significant loss creep from catastrophes in the EMEA region, with analysis by The Insurer showing industry loss estimates are rising by around 28 percent on average from initial projections.
