Fitch: US personal auto insurers’ results take a wrong turn in 2021

The US personal auto insurance market saw a drastic decline in its fortunes in 2021 when compared with the pandemic-influenced 2020, with the aggregate combined ratio for 10 of the largest publicly traded carriers in the sector increasing 8.3 points to 96.3 percent, according to Fitch Ratings.
