Risk modellers agree Helene at least a $6bn privately insured loss

Estimates from risk modelling firms for Hurricane Helene show private insurers are on the hook for at least $6bn of losses and as high as $14bn at the top end, while losses to the National Flood Insurance Program could reach $6.5bn.
