Gracechurch London Leading Brokers survey reveals top reinsurance broker
Willis Towers Watson’s Graeme Moore has topped a poll of London’s reinsurance brokers, holding off the challenge of Guy Carpenter duo Tim Martin and David Finlay.
Moore, who serves as CEO of Willis Re Specialty, achieved the largest number of votes from underwriters in the reinsurance category of the latest Gracechurch London’s Leading Brokers survey.
Moore has a long track record in the London reinsurance broking space, having previously served as CEO of the Global ReSpecialty segment at Aon Benfield (now Aon Reinsurance Solutions) for five years prior to joining Willis Re in 2014.
He began his career at Steel Burrill Jones before joining Alexander Howden Limited as a director in its marine and energy reinsurance division in 1995.
The top five is completed by Aon’s Wayne Greet and Lockton’s Fraser Howard.
The Gracechurch London’s Leading Brokers 2021 ranking is based on data collected between December 2020 and February 2021 through confidential online interviews.
Nominations were received from 254 senior underwriters operating in the London market covering a representative cross-section of business classes and carriers, with participating underwriters representing 46 separate insurance carriers. More than 600 broker nominations were received in total.
