AIG launches long-awaited ~$1.7bn+ IPO for life unit Corebridge

AIG said Tuesday it has launched the long-awaited initial public offering for its life and retirement (L&R) business Corebridge Financial, moving ahead with a plan to finally split off the unit from its core P&C general insurance business that it first announced in October 2020.
