Allstate looks to place nationwide cat cover early with pricing up in 40-50% range

Allstate’s 1.6 renewing nationwide excess catastrophe reinsurance tower is being priced up 40-50 percent on a risk-adjusted basis with a raised retention and an aim to add limit up the tower as the US personal lines giant looks to lock in capacity early, The Insurer can reveal.
