Canadian carriers face C$165mn+ hit from Tantallon, NS wildfires

Insured losses from the wildfires that swept through Tantallon, Nova Scotia in late May and early June are expected to cost carriers more than C$165mn ($124mn), with the vast majority of claims from the event related to personal property, according to initial estimates from Catastrophe Indices and Quantification Inc (CatIQ).
