CNA P&C swings to $210mn U/W loss in Q2

CNA Financial has reported an underwriting loss of $210mn in its P&C division in the second quarter, compared to a profit of $72mn in the same period last year, as pre-announced catastrophe losses pushed the unit to a 112.3 percent combined ratio.
