Fitch: US P&C underwriting profitability to improve in 2022

The US property casualty sector will benefit from improved underwriting profitability in 2022 as a result of continued favourable commercial lines pricing but claims trends will return to pre-Covid norms, ratings agency Fitch has suggested while holding a neutral outlook on the sector.
