GC’s Priebe: Renewals behind schedule as reinsurers delay pricing, terms and capacity decisions

The 1.1 renewals are currently running one- to two-weeks behind the typical schedule, according to Guy Carpenter chairman David Priebe, with the volume of quotes received from reinsurers currently around one third what would typically be seen at this stage of the year.
