Heritage eyes E&S opportunities, exhausts Irma private reinsurance cover

Following an earnings beat that saw investors send its shares up over 30 percent on Friday, the management of Heritage Insurance Holdings has said the carrier will expand its excess and surplus lines business to South Carolina in Q2, as well as revealing loss creep has exhausted its private reinsurance cover for Hurricane Irma.
