Hurricane Ian ranks joint 5th for strongest winds at landfall

Hurricane Ian made landfall with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph, placing it in joint fifth place on record in the US, with the storm striking almost exactly the same spot as Charley did in 2004 but with far more potential for damage.
