Lloyd’s (re)insurer Ascot launches $1bn Bermuda reinsurer

Ascot Group Ltd, the Lloyd’s (re)insurer owned by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), has launched a Bermudian reinsurer to be led by reinsurance veteran John Berger.
