Moody’s Analytics says Helene “like Idalia, but worse” with cost estimated at up to $34bn

Moody’s Analytics has estimated that Hurricane Helene is “poised to carry a heftier economic price tag” than Idalia that hit the same region last year, and as a sustained Category 4 storm, could inflict damage ranging from $20bn to $34bn.
