Motor premium increases moderate to 1% in Q1 but claims inflation continues to bite

UK motor premium increases decelerated to just 1 percent in the first quarter of 2024, although insurers continued to absorb rising costs as the average claim paid increased 8 percent to a record £4,800, according to the Association of British Insurers.
