Munich Re pegs H1 nat cat insured losses of $43bn, well above 10-year average

The first half of 2023 saw insured losses of $43bn from natural disasters according to provisional estimates, marking an increase of more than 25 percent from the 10-year average of $34bn for the six month period, Munich Re has said.
