Progressive CEO hails “Herculean effort” as 2023 CR improves to 94.9%
Progressive saw its combined ratio improve by 90 basis points to 94.9 percent in 2023 – a result which exceeded its profitability goal and was described by CEO Tricia Griffith as “a Herculean effort” – while the carrier’s net premiums written increased by a fifth to $61.6bn.
