RLI expects up to $75mn hit to Q3 results from Hawaii homeowners wildfire losses

RLI said it expects to record between $65mn and $75mn in pre-tax cat losses tied to this month’s Hawaii wildfires when it reports third quarter results, with claims expected to come from 200 structures where the carrier largely provided homeowners insurance.
