TigerRisk backer Flexpoint Ford names Ackerman managing partner

US private equity firm Flexpoint Ford has promoted Chris Ackerman to managing partner with the executive having played a key role in its investments in several insurance industry assets including TigerRisk, Alera Group, GeoVera, Vale Insurance and Purchasing Power.
