UK insurers at “significantly higher” risk of cyber incidents

The insurance sector is at a “significantly higher” risk of cybersecurity incidents than the average UK business, with almost half of UK insurers reporting between 40 and 60 incidents in the last 12 months compared to the overall average of 24, according to research by iomart.
