UK’s lifeboat fund returned £15.5mn in premiums following MCE collapse

The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has been forced to pay over £15.5mn ($18.5mn) to return premiums sold by Gibraltar-based MGA MCE Insurance Company Ltd (MICL), which collapsed into insolvency late last year.
